… is a non-profit organization designed around the “Housing First Model.” We believe that once a person has a safe place to rest their head and nourish their body – they can then begin to address underlying causes of recidivism, homelessness, trauma and other obstacles.
We believe that in an integrated harm reduction model which incorporates linkages to primary care, behavioral health therapy, MAT* and SUD** treatments as well as education, employment, family reunification and social skills ( also known as “Wrap-Around-Care.”)
Our Program Technicians and Peer Support Counselors utilize their unique lived experiences to help formulate care plans and case management to ensure success at every step of our participants’ reintegration into society.
Happy Healthy Housing Inc. supports 36 residents in a shared housing therapeutic community. We have a two story home with 13 rooms designated for residents with ADA access available. Each floor has at least 2 full restrooms and a separate kitchen. There is space for house dining meals and meetings on the main floor as well.
Happy Healthy Housing Inc. works in collaboration with Los Angeles agencies such as the Office of Diversion and Reentry, Whole Person Care, Community Coalition (ARC), St. John’s Well Child and Family Center, Transitions Clinic Network and others. We aim to provide bio-psycho-social services utilizing outside entities.
Happy Healthy Housing Inc. will provide daily private transportation to our residents for all medical / IBH* / MAT / SUD Dental and Vision appointments, trade school and centers for job training and classrooms.
